Police Rescue Nine Children From Initiation Into Lagos Cult
In a commendable operation, the Lagos State Police Command successfully rescued nine children from an alarming forced initiation into cultism within the Mushin area.
The incident came to light when SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the command, shared the news on his Twitter account.
The children, aged between nine and fourteen, were found with incisions on their lower lips, a clear indication of their harrowing ordeal.
The youngest child rescued was just nine years old, while the oldest was fourteen. The discovery highlights the urgent need to strengthen the family unit and provide greater protection for vulnerable children.
