In a viral video that has raised a social media storm, a Nigerian woman has said that it is a “normal” man thing for every man to cheat and be engaged in infidelity.

She boldly stated that if a man remains faithful in a relationship or marriage, it’s a sign that he might be under the influence of a spell.

The woman’s declaration, captured in the now-viral video, suggests that any man who doesn’t cheat on his partner might be controlled by juju, a term referring to magical charms or spells. She went on to express her belief that a “normal man” is expected to cheat and possess a history of infidelity.

“If you find yourself not cheating on your partner as a man, you find yourself not cheating on your wife, you find yourself not cheating on your girlfriend, knowsay you dey on juju. A normal man should cheat and have a cheating record,” she said.

While the woman’s viewpoint that every normal must cheat has gained attention online, it has also sparked discussions about traditional gender roles, fidelity, and societal expectations. Many have criticized her perspective as regressive and harmful, while others have engaged in thoughtful conversations about relationships and cultural beliefs.

Meanwhile, Spotify, a global online streaming platform, has announced Davido’s “Unavailable” as the most streamed song on his recently released album, “Timeless”.

Jocelyne Muhutu-Remy, Spotify’s Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos.

Muhutu-Remy said ‘Unavailable’ also remained the most exported track among 18 -24  year-olds.
