Veteran Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has set tongues wagging after she flaunted what appears to be an engagement ring, hinting at a new chapter in her love life after a rocky marriage.

The actress, who previously expressed her independence and stated that marriage wasn’t necessary for her to feel accomplished, created a buzz on social media with her latest post.

Ini Edo took to her Instagram story to share a video in which she proudly displayed a dazzling engagement ring with a sizable gemstone. In the video, she humorously claimed to be engaged and getting married to “Jesus Christ of Nazareth.”

“My engagement ring; I’m getting married to Jesus,” she declared.

Ini Edo was previously married to Philip Ehiagwina, a businessman from Edo, in 2008. Unfortunately, their marriage faced challenges and eventually came to an end in 2014.
