NDDC: Tinubu Got It Right With Ebie, Says CAC

A pro-Agbor group, Concerned Agbor Citizens (CAC), has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for head-hunting Mr. Chiedu Ebie to chair the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

In a press statement signed by Mr. Echi Obue and Mr. Williams Eghebi, Chairman and Secretary respectively, the group said considering the pedigrees of the nominees into the commission, there is a ray of hope that the purpose for which the agency was created will begin to manifest.

” The nomination of Mr. Chiedu Ebie as the Chairman of NDDC by President Tinubu shows he is serious about attending to the dysfunctional infrastructures in the region,” the Agbor group said.

Continuing, the CAC averred that “Ebie, with his rich political and administrative pedigree will work his socks off to ensure the attainment of the underlining mission of the commission created in 2005.” 

The Agbor group appealed to the National Assembly to trash the few petitions raised against Ebie’s nomination as NDDC chairman by inordinate politicians who have failed in the task given to them in the past.

” We are aware of a few rabble-rousers, attempting a political comeback by taking a dig at  Mr. Ebie. We need not remind them to spike the petitions as they are baseless and empty.”

While congratulating the new chairman on the appointment, the group thanked the President for identifying an egghead to lead the interventionist agency at this critical time of the nation.
