Mixed reactions have been trailing the advice to organisers of the Mohbad Candlelight vigil in Lekki, Lagos by police spokesman, Adejobi Ademuyiwa who singled out a lady who exposed her breasts during the vigil for the late music star.

GWG.ng reports that Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Saturday remonstrated with the yet to be identified lady who lifted her shirt to expose her breasts held by loose-fitting bra during the vigil. The police spokesman on account of the development adviced the organisers to redirect their energies towards a foundation instead of such public vigils bringing out such characters as the lady who exposed herself.

The candlelight procession at the Muri Okunola Park for Mohbad attracted some of the country’s leading celebrities who have joined the global clamour for justice to be given the late signee of Naira Marley’s Marlian Records.

The video of the unidentified lady wearing a white Mohbad memorial T-shirt and dancing during the vigil procession exposing her breasts elicited mixed reactions from the public including Adejobi.

Reproving the lady and calling on the organisers to redirect their energies from such programmes that could bring people like the lady, he tweeted thus:

There were mixed reactions to the assertions of the police spokesman on the action of the lady exposing her breasts at the Mohbad candlelight.

While many agreed with him on the need for sobriety, there were others who questioned whether the police had turned into a moral force. Some mocked the police spokesman whether he enjoyed seeing the lady displaying herself?
