Drama As Chicago Varsity Releases Tinubu’s Academic Records

The Chicago State University (CSU) has released the academic records of President Bola Tinubu, following requests by Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the last elections.

GWG.ng earlier reported the US district court for the northern district of Illinois, over the weekend, ordered the Chicago CSU to release the academic records of Tinubu.

Justice Nancy Maldonado in a judgment dismissed the objection raised by Tinubu against Atiku’s request and expressly ordered that the CSU must submit the academic records to Atiku.

And the school has obeyed the court order, releasing the documents on Monday night.

The battle of political wits between President Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar was proceeding into an intercontinental political drama in Nigeria and America on Monday night after the Chicago State University, CSU released the academic records of the president with one of the major revelations being that one of the records marked Tinubu as a female.

However, while the camp of the president was brushing away that claim with the assertion that CSU had not contradicted the claim that Tinubu graduated from the school, the Atiku camp was on Monday night in euphoria ahead of the deposition on Tuesday where the school is expected to testify under oath over the issues.
