Tiwa Savage Postpones Shows, Reveals Struggle With Virus

Popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has disclosed that she has been battling a virus for the past few weeks which has affected some oof her planned shows.

The female singer said she needed to be on ‘vocal rest’ for now due to the virus.

In a statement issued on Tuesday via her verified Instagram account, it was disclosed that all her forthcoming performances, including her first-ever headline area show in London, will be postponed.

Speaking on the virus which has affected her ability to go on with her show, Tiwa Savage said;

“To my dear Savage Soldiers, I’ve been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.

“I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first ever headline area show in London.

“I’m heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what’s left of my voice.

“I’m so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed,” the statement read.
