VIDEO: Dramatic Moment Chief Whip, Ndume, Staged Walkout

Senator representing Borno South and Chief Whip of the Senate, Ali Ndume, on Tuesday, staged a walkout from the Red Chamber.

Senator Ndume had during plenary raised a Point of Order Citing Order 54 of the Senate Rule, the Senate Chief Whip expressing strong reservations on the manner the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio had been handling plenary sessions which he noted was in breach of the rules.

“Mr President there are some things we do in this chamber that are against the rules. Sir, nobody is too big to learn….”

Senator Akpabio interjected his colleagues and ruled him out of order.

An angry Senator Ndume later stormed out of the Chamber and went straight to his office.

The Senate President consequently called for an Executive Session of the Red Chamber.
