Israel security Hamas killed

Hamas-affiliated media say that the head of Hamas security forces Jehad Mheisen has been killed in Gaza as Israel continues to exact revenge for the October 7 attacks that killed at least 1,300 persons in Israel.

Besides him, members of his family were also reported to have died during the operation that occurred on Wednesday night.

Besides, it is also reported that the widow of the Hamas co-founder, Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi was also reported to have been killed overnight.

They are the latest senior Hamas figures to die in what the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has described as the long war his country is waging against Hamas.

GWG.ng reports that MOSSAD, the Israeli Intelligence Agency on Thursday also confirmed the killing of Jamila Al-Shantee, the first woman elected to Hamas’s political leadership. She was reportedly killed in an Israeli strike.

Earlier this week, Israel Defense Forces said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that Ayman Nofal, described as a “senior Hamas official”, had also been killed.

The killing of the Hamas leaders follows the vow of the Israeli political leaders to eliminate the leaders of Hamas who ordered the invasion of Israel that led to the death of at least 1,300 persons in Israel and the abduction of at least 203 persons into Gaza.

At least 3,700 persons have been killed in Gaza since security forces from Israel commenced retaliation for the invasion principally directed at Hamas leaders.
