Regina Daniels Mother, Rita Daniels Bags Political Appointment  

Mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, Rita Daniels has gotten a new appointment from Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.

The governor appointed her as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Women Mobilization & Empowerment.

She announced her latest appointment on Tuesday via her Instagram page.

Before the appointment, Rita was the leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Women Wing and played a crucial role in mobilizing women’s support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the governorship election.

Sharing the good news, she wrote: 

“Governor Oborevwori Appoints Dame Rita Daniels SSA Women Mobilization & Empowerment

Delta State Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed a Women rights advocate, Chief Mrs Rita Daniels Chukwuji as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Women Mobilization & Empowerment.

Rita Daniels who recently bagged her degree in law has over the years remained consistence in advancing the welfare and development of women.

Before her appointment, she was the leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Women Wing.

As a technocrat, it is believed that she would bring to bear her years of experience in delivering effective service in her office.

She equally played a key role in mobilizing women’s support for her party the PDP during the governorship election.

Apart from enjoying the support of Delta women, she is also popular in all Igbo speaking states by the virtue of her closeness to the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

She has since expressed her profound gratitude to the Governor for finding her worthy of this strategic position, assuring thst she would give in her best to promote the State.”
