Pastor Refuses To Turn The Other Cheek, Slams N20m Libel Suit On Chef Dammy

Chef Dammy finds herself entangled in a legal battle as Pastor Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, has filed a lawsuit against her, demanding a staggering sum of Twenty million naira (20,000,000) in damages.

This legal action comes just days after Chef Dammy publicly called out the pastor, expressing concerns about her safety and holding him responsible if any harm befell her.

The controversy began when Chef Dammy revealed online that her life was in danger, hinting that her pastor, who had sponsored her Cook-a-Thon event, might be involved. In response, Pastor Adegoke took legal action, expressing surprise and dismay at what he perceived as a defamatory statement made by the chef. His lawyers have issued a petition demanding a retraction of the alleged libelous statement and seeking substantial compensation for damages.
