Police Give Important Update On Mohbad’s Autopsy Report  

The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that the command is yet to receive the autopsy result of late Afrobeats star, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.

Recall that the 27-year-old singer died on September 12 in controversial circumstances. Nigerians demanded for an autopsy to be carried out to ascertain the real cause of his death.

The singer’s body (Mohbad) was exhumed from where it was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos state by the Police in September 21 for an autopsy to be carried out.

On October 6, the state police command announced the autopsy had been concluded while results were being awaited. 

The spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the command is yet to receive the result of the autopsy.

 “The autopsy report has not been given to us. Some people have been carrying rumours that it’s ready. It’s one thing for it to be ready, it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially – that we would receive and sign a copy that we have received it. So, we don’t work with rumours, we work with facts.” he said.
