GWG.ng reports that before the news on the US citizenship that her ex, Justin Dean filed for divorce from Korra Obidi in March 2022, just days after they welcomed their second child. Their divorce was quite messy on social media as the two dragged each other and spilled their dirt. The couple’s divorce was finally finalized on November 19, 2022, with both of them sharing joint custody of their two daughters.

Korra, who was elated with the divorce, stated that she was open to moving on in peace with her ex, for the sake of the children. Dropping some bombshell revelations on her marriage and divorce, Korra claimed that she paid half of her bride price, and paid a hefty amount to her ex-husband, Justin Dean following their divorce.

The mum of two made this known as she addressed those saying her ex-husband brought her out of poverty. She questioned if she and her family looked poor as she revealed that she met her husband in China and had to pay him $50,000 in a divorce settlement and he didn’t give her a dime.

The revelation of paying off her ex-husband came months after she claimed that he was demanding spousal support. Taking to her Facebook page where she broke down in tears over the unending drama, Korra stated that she tried believing in peaceful co-parenting, but her mindset had changed.

She alleged that her husband was demanding spousal support, despite her being the one taking care of them financially, and to worsen it, he wanted full custody of their kids.
