Street Hip-Hop rapper Portable Omolalomi has entered into a public dispute with fellow artiste Seyi Vibez over the authenticity of the latter’s claim to hitting two billion global streams.

The altercation unfolded shortly after Seyi Vibez proudly showcased his streaming plaque on Instagram, announcing the impressive milestone.

Portable wasted no time in challenging Seyi Vibez’s assertion, alleging that the singer falsified his stream numbers and questioning the legitimacy of achieving such a feat with his style of music. The rapper went further to criticize Seyi Vibez’s music as “local,” asserting that it couldn’t possibly garner two billion global streams.

Adding fuel to the fire, Portable emphasized Seyi Vibez’s purported inability to draw crowds at his shows in Europe. The rapper raised doubts about the singer’s international recognition despite claiming astronomical streaming figures.

In a bold statement, Portable accused Seyi Vibez of deceiving his career and pointed out that the singer’s music struggles to resonate internationally. He also reminded the public of an alleged incident where Seyi Vibez was disqualified from the Headies awards for making threats against the organizers, yet went on to receive the Best Street-Hop Artiste award.

“Are you whining? You’re lying to your career? You go Europe dem no fit mime your song; you go London you no fit collect ten shows. Your song con enter billion, who con dey listen to your song? You that is yet to be recognized internationally; with your one style of music. Even those that gave you award, Headies regretted,” Portable remarked.
