Iyabo Ojo Bows to Pressure, Issues Apology for Bullying Co-Stars on ‘Real Housewives of Lagos

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has responded to public pressure by issuing a heartfelt apology for her alleged bullying behavior towards fellow cast members, including Laura Ikeji and Faith Morey, on the reality show “Real Housewives of Lagos.”

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, the mother of two expressed regret for her actions, acknowledging that her behavior on the reality show may have left many disappointed. Iyabo Ojo, known for her commitment to justice and fairness, clarified that her initial goal was to entertain viewers and provide a show worthy of their time and hence her apology.

While maintaining her support for the late singer Mohbad, Iyabo Ojo tendered an apology for any perceived bullying attributes and expressed difficulty in accepting comparisons between her behavior on the show and her advocacy for justice in Mohbad’s case.

She wrote, “I emphatically reject all forms of bullying. I have never bullied anyone in my day-to-day life nor condoned bullying in any form.” She explained that certain dramatic moments on the show were orchestrated for entertainment purposes and not intended to cause harm.

Addressing the justice advocacy for Mohbad, Iyabo Ojo emphasized its significance and stated that she had no regrets about being part of the fight for justice for the fallen singer.

Expressing gratitude to her partner, Paulo Okoye, for his unwavering support, she also extended a direct apology to Laura Ikeji and Faith Morey for any alleged bullying.

Iyabo Ojo concluded her post by emphasizing the importance of learning to be cordial in differences, calling for understanding and unity.
