In a poignant turn of events, a woman has found herself in distress and taken to the streets, desperately seeking the return of her prized Christmas chicken.

This feathered animal companion, meticulously nurtured for months in anticipation of a festive feast, was abruptly stolen from her compound, shattering her holiday plans.

The lady had invested time and effort into grooming the chicken, envisioning it as the centerpiece of her Christmas celebration. However, her aspirations were cruelly disrupted when an unknown individual trespassed into her compound and absconded with the carefully raised fowl.

A circulating video on social media captures the heart-wrenching scene as the lady, clutching a plate and sounding it for attention, makes a heartfelt plea for the safe return of her cherished chicken. In her impassioned appeal, she emphasizes the emotional investment she poured into the bird, expressing dismay at the thought of someone else enjoying the fruits of her labor.

Our reporter, Gideon Ayeni reports that same scenario occured barely 24 hours ago in an area known as Oluwo Community located in Ibadan the Oyo State capital where an elderly woman was begging and sending warning to whoever went away with her fowl.

According to the woman, she has been nurturing the stolen fowl for over two years with anticipation of festive feast but unfortunately, her hope was shattered just three days to the deal day- Christmas celebration.

The incident sheds light on the unfortunate reality faced by individuals who invest time and care into raising livestock, only to be met with the heartbreak of theft. As the video circulates on social media platforms, the community rallies together in the hopes of reuniting the distraught woman with her stolen Christmas poultry.
