In a startling revelation, popular Yoruba actress Mariam Muftaudeen, affectionately known as Omo VC, has taken to task the Chairman of the Lagos State Park Management, Musiliu Akinsaya, better known as MC Oluomo, over alleged threats to her life and that of her daughter.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Muftaudeen urged the public to hold MC Oluomo “responsible should any harm befall me or my daughter.” She went on to claim that she has a daughter with MC Oluomo, but he has neglected to fulfill his responsibilities towards the child’s welfare.

In a detailed “open letter to Musiliu Akinsaya,” the actress accused MC Oluomo of ordering his security personnel to shoot at her during her last visit to his residence. Muftaudeen lamented that attempts to pursue legal action against him faced setbacks, with the judiciary backing out before the case could commence.

Expressing the tumultuous journey she has endured, Muftaudeen recounted the challenges she faced during pregnancy and the subsequent struggles after giving birth to their daughter, Zeenat Abebi. She alleged that MC Oluomo made life unbearable for her during this period and frustrated every effort to reconcile and ensure his responsibility for their child.

The actress disputed MC Oluomo’s claim of providing her with 20 million Naira, demanding evidence and challenging him to reveal the intermediary involved. Muftaudeen asserted that she has been solely responsible for their daughter’s welfare, receiving only one million Naira from him a week after her last visit, during which he allegedly instructed the police to shoot at her.

In a poignant plea, Muftaudeen asked MC Oluomo to take responsibility for their daughter, cease threatening her and the child, and spare her fiance’s life from the ongoing turmoil. Despite facing legal obstacles due to the withdrawal of support from those she believed would champion her case, Muftaudeen concluded her post with a warning, holding MC Oluomo responsible for any harm that may befall her or her daughter.

As of the time of this report, MC Oluomo has not responded to the allegations, leaving the public awaiting his side of the story.
