Riot Erupts At Yam Palliative Distribution In Lagos (Video)
A viral video capturing the moment some Nigerians took to looting a truckload of yams meant as palliatives at the Central Mosque in Lagos, has emerged.
The trending video which was shared by a TikTok user with the Identity @keemah.collection, captured some distributors on the truck throwing off the yams to the teeming crowd.
While the crowd thronged to the truck to catch their share of yams, some Lagosians bypassed the crowd and jumped into the truck to fight for their share.
In the past few weeks, Nigerians at all levels, religious leaders, governors and other citizens of Nigerians have called on the Tinubu-led government to address the hunger situation in the nation before it gets out of hand.
