Davido’s Aide, Lati, Compensates Fan Slapped During Encounter(Video)

Lati, the assistant to Nigerian music sensation Davido, has reportedly extended an apology and compensation to a fan who was slapped during an encounter with the artiste’s entourage.

Videos circulating online had captured Davido’s aide, Lati, allegedly engaging in physical altercations with fans attempting to approach the artiste. One video, in particular, showed an excited fan attempting to capture the singer with a phone, only to be met with a brutal slap from Lati.

In response to the incident, a Twitter user identified as Temitopepr shared a screenshot indicating that Lati, through a burner account, reached out to the affected fan approximately three hours after the altercation. In the message, Lati apologized for the incident and offered compensation in the form of a ₦200,000 transfer to the fan’s account.
