Tetuila and Bandmates

Renowned singer Tony Tetuila, formerly of The Remedies, has made startling allegations against his ex-bandmates Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Remedy, suggesting they orchestrated his removal from the group despite his mother’s initial sponsorship.

In a candid podcast interview, Eedris Abdulkareem pointed fingers at Eddy’s alleged greed, citing unequal revenue distribution proposals that excluded Tetuila from an equitable share. Abdulkareem claimed he advised Tetuila to pursue a solo career following a contentious meeting.

Expressing his dismay on social media, Tetuila refuted Abdulkareem and Remedy’s assertions, recounting his feelings of being “heartbroken and shattered” by his expulsion. He credited Daddy Showkey and Blackface for their unwavering support during his transition to a solo artist.

Tetuila accused his former bandmates of collusion against him, directly contradicting Abdulkareem’s claims of industry sacrifices. He highlighted Blackface’s pivotal role in nurturing his songwriting skills.

In response to Tetuila’s accusations, Eddy Remedy denied any knowledge of Tetuila’s mother sponsoring the group, asserting that he only became aware of such rumors later. Remedy claimed he financed the group with $5,000 received from his parents after completing his education.
