Reflecting on his upbringing, the seasoned actor disclosed that he encountered rejection from both women and society at large, owing to his distinct facial and physical features.

In a candid interview with renowned YouTuber, Yan Kontent Factory, Alajemba shared intimate details about his early experiences, recounting how his own mother divulged that people shunned carrying him as a baby because of his perceived lack of attractiveness. He stated, “My mother told me that as a baby, people refused to carry me because I was not looking attractive.”

This revelation left a profound impact on his self-esteem and sense of belonging. Driven by a deep desire to prove himself worthy, Alajemba made a solemn vow to his mother that he would make her proud, determined to defy the odds stacked against him. He vividly recalls his struggle to find acceptance and love, with women seemingly recoiling at the sight of his face, exacerbating his feelings of alienation and inadequacy.

He said, “Unfortunately before one accepted me I was already 20 to 22 years old. I married at 23. So the first person tasted it and confirmed it and she did not leave me anymore.”
