A distressed tenant has taken to social media to share her ordeal after receiving a one-month quit notice from her landlord, despite investing heavily in renovating her store for better visibility.

In a heartfelt post on her social media page, the tenant, who chose to remain unidentified, lamented the perceived injustice of her situation. She revealed that she had poured over half a million naira into renovating and modernizing her store, aiming to enhance its visibility and attract more customers.

However, to her dismay, her efforts were met with an unexpected blow when her landlord served her with a one-month notice to vacate the premises. In a video shared alongside her post, the distraught tenant could be seen shedding tears, expressing her frustration and sense of injustice.

“After using more than half a million to renovate your store and create strong visibility for your store, landlord gives you 1 month to pack out,” she captioned her post, encapsulating the distressing situation she found herself in.
