Shades Of Politics As Outrage Grows Over Soldiers’ Retaliation In Delta

Outrage was swelling on Sunday after news emerged that the village of Okuoma in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State had been razed by soldiers in apparent retaliation for the killing of their colleagues the day before.

GWG.ng reports that the outrage was also being fanned by political shades with Obidients as supporters of Peter Obi are called calling out All Progressives Congress, APC tweeps for orchestrating the campaign for a violent reaction by Nigerian soldiers.

GWG.ng reports that under circumstances that are yet to be fully disclosed that soldiers of the Nigerian Army reportedly from the Amphibious Brigade, Omumu, Agbor were ambushed and killed setting the stage for the vicious retaliation late on Saturday.

Meanwhile, leading Obidient lady, Nefertiti@firstladyship was quick to call out APC tweeps for tweets that encouraged the soldiers to retaliate. She and some other Obidients alleged that APC tweeps who had been accusing Israel of staging genocide in Gaza were the ones calling for the same in Delta State because the people there were not of a certain tribe or religion.
