Alert POS Operator Nabs Woman With Counterfeit Currency In Lagos

A woman identified as Linda Ihebinike has been apprehended for allegedly trying to conduct a transaction using counterfeit Nigerian currency. The incident unfolded when a vigilant Point of Sale (POS) operator in Lagos noticed the fake notes and promptly alerted the authorities.

According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, the alert POS operator raised concerns after Linda Ihebinike attempted to carry out a transaction amounting to N90,000 using fake N1000 notes.
