Lagos Reveals Date For Complete Reopening Of Third Mainland Bridge

The Lagos State Government revealed on Saturday that the ongoing rehabilitation of the Third Mainland Bridge will be completed for full reopening on Thursday.

Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, shared the update on his social media account, expressing gratitude for residents’ patience.

He wrote: “Dear Lagos Residents, We’re pleased to share that the Third Mainland Bridge will resume full operations on April 4th, 2024, following extensive repairs.”

The commissioner added, “We sincerely thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we look forward to even smoother travels ahead. Warm regards.”

The bridge, which has been undergoing rehabilitation since January 2024, will finally be accessible to commuters without restrictions, marking a significant milestone for the city’s infrastructure.
