Okuama Residents Being Bitten By Snakes In The Bush, Seek Govt Assistance (Video)
Residents of Okuama community in Delta State who fled to the bush following the killing of 17 military personnel in the community, are appealing for help from the federal and state governments.
The residents’ spokesperson who spoke to newsmen on behalf of the people of Okuama, asked the Federal and State Governments to supply them with healthcare, food, and other facilities. He revealed that the fleeing children, women, and men of the community have no water, food, shelter, and medical care.
He added that some of the residents have fallen ill and have also been bitten by snakes while seeking refuge in the bush.
