Rivers Crisis: Why I Don’t Have Good Relationship With Peter Odili – Wike

A former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said that his friendship with former Governor Peter Odili has hit a bump.

GWG.ng gathered that Wike said their relationship hit the rock due to certain political disagreements.

Odili, a two-time Governor of Rivers State, handed over to Celestine Omehia who was sacked by the Supreme Court allowing Rotimi Amaechi to take office in October 2907. Amaechi was Wike’s predecessor.

“As it is today, politically we don’t have a good relationship. We don’t work together. there are some political differences,” Wike said in an interview on Tuesday.

The FCT minister, however, did not mention what actually happened that led to their soured relationship.

Meanwhile, in an interview aired on the Nigerian Television Authority last week, Chibuike Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation, vowed never to talk ill about Peter Odili no matter the circumstances.
