BREAKING: President Tinubu Signs Student Loan Bill Into Law

President Bola Tinubu, has signed the Student Loan (Access to Higher Education) Act (Repeal and Re-Enactment) Bill, 2024, into law.

The bill which was signed by President Tinubu on Wednesday came after separate considerations by both the Senate and the House of Representatives of the report of the Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund.

Recall that the student loan which was formally slated to take off on March 13, was postponed as there were corrections that had to be made according to Akintunde Sawyer, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
