Police Seek 13-Year-Old Nigerian Girl Who Left Home After Mom Rebuked Her Over Pot Of Soup

A 13-year-old girl named Miss Tochukwu Johnson has been reported missing in Umuahia, Abia State, following an altercation with her mother. According to the Abia State Police Command, Tochukwu, who resides in Afara Majestic in Umuahia North LGA, disappeared on March 22, 2024, after leaving home for an undisclosed location.

The police statement, issued by Police Public Relations Officer Maureen Chinaka, revealed that the fair-skinned girl left her residence after being disciplined by her mother for discarding the family’s soup. Despite extensive efforts by relatives to locate her, Tochukwu’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the 4-foot-5-inch-tall girl to report to the nearest police station or contact the office of the Abia State Police Command’s PPRO.
