BREAKING: Many Feared Dead As Hoodlums Invade Kogi Community

Many have been reportedly killed by some gun-wielding hoodlums who attacked Agojeju-Odo, a community in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State.

According to reports the hoodlums were said to have shot at community members and burnt houses after they invaded the community.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya confirmed the attack to newmen, adding that the state Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, has deployed tactical teams to the area.

“Yes, there was an attack in the village in Omala. The CP has deployed the enforcement team along with other security agencies.”

Aya noted that an investigation is ongoing to “ascertain the cause of the attack and to unravel the perpetrators.”
