Tinubu Commends Tim Obazee As CBN Probe Concludes

President Bola Tinubu expressed gratitude to Jim Obazee, former CEO of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC), for his service as Special Investigator of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and related entities.

Appointed on July 28, 2023, Obazee was lauded by the President for his dedication and professionalism in handling the critical national assignment.

With the submission of the final comprehensive report and the conclusion of the investigation on March 31, 2024, all apparatuses used during the task have been dismantled, marking the formal closure of the investigation.

The President extended his appreciation to Obazee for his commitment to duty and wished him success in his future endeavors.

This was stated in a release by the President’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday.
