In a significant breakthrough, Lagos State Police operatives have apprehended Muhammed Tunde and his accomplices for their involvement in assaulting a hotel staff member.

Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos police, revealed that Tunde, a dismissed Nigerian Navy personnel since 2000, had been posing as an active military officer to carry out illicit activities.

According to Hundeyin, Tunde has been deceiving individuals by presenting himself as a serving military officer and charging a fee of N20,000 to orchestrate physical assaults upon request.

The arrest came after Hundeyin shared details of the operation on social media platform X, shedding light on Tunde’s fraudulent activities.

The arrest, according SP Hundeyin, occurred when Tunde and his associates were reportedly engaged in assaulting a hotel staff member. The altercation arose after a hotel patron, who had been reprimanded for smoking in a designated non-smoking area, allegedly enlisted Tunde’s services to intimidate the staff.
