Despite the devastating loss of her beloved husband, Beatrice made a remarkable decision to fulfill his lifelong dream. In a poignant ceremony witnessed by family and friends, she proceeded with the wedding as planned, albeit with a heartbreaking twist – she exchanged vows with Gitari posthumously.

The extraordinary event unfolded amidst tears and solemnity, as Beatrice placed a wedding ring on Gitari’s finger during his funeral, symbolizing their eternal bond and fulfilling his wish for a church wedding, even in death.
