In a troubling incident, twin sisters aged 14, who had been missing for a month, were discovered in a hotel in Allen Park, Detroit, in the company of a 30-year-old man with a criminal background.

The twins were reported missing by their father on March 8 from their residence in the 1800 block of Robson Street in Detroit. Their disappearance prompted a search effort by local authorities.

Police eventually traced the whereabouts of the missing twin sisters to a Comfort Inn off I-95 in Allen Park, following a lead involving a stolen debit card from Nebraska. The card had been used by Marcus Peoples, a Highland Park resident, to procure the hotel room where the twins were found.

The stolen debit card belonged to a teenager named Abigale from Nebraska, whose mother was alerted to the unauthorized transaction by the bank. Prompt action from Abigale’s family and the Allen Park Police Department led to the discovery of the missing girls.

Body-camera footage released by Allen Park police captured the moment when the sisters were located on April 8. While one officer recognized them as the missing twins, the girls offered vague responses when asked about their disappearance.

Peoples, the man found with the missing twin sisters, claimed innocence, stating that he had received the stolen card information from his brother and was unaware of its illicit nature. However, he was charged with fraud, using a stolen credit card, and harboring missing juveniles, with a bond set at $150,000.

Prior to their discovery, the twins had a history of running away from home, as recounted by their father, George Ogden. Despite previous instances, the twins’ latest disappearance raised concerns about their safety and well-being.
