As the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) tightens its grip on popular Instagram personality Cubana Chief Priest, a video has surfaced online purportedly showing him throwing bundles of cash at an event.

GWG.ng reports that the emergence of this video follows the assertions made by the EFCC against Cubana Chief Priest, that accuse him of tampering with funds issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The allegations state that he engaged in cash-spraying activities during social events, specifically citing incidents in Lagos in both 2020 and January 2024.

The EFCC’s case against Cubana Chief Priest was submitted on April 4th by prosecutor Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), alongside a team of seven other lawyers representing the Commission’s Chairman.
