The All Progressives Congress, APC has given reasons why it has not complied with the order of a Kano State High Court which on Tuesday ordered the sack of the party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.

The National Legal Adviser of the APC, Professor, Abdulkarim Kana speaking publicly for the first time on the issue said the party was not officially aware of the order to sack Ganduje on the claim that it has not received the order of the Kano State High Court on the suspension.

GWG.ng reports that Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC was recently suspended by his ward executive in Ganduje on the claim of alleged corruption raised against him by the State Government.

Speaking to newsmen at the party’s National Secretariat on Wednesday in Abuja, Kana said:

“We heard of the court order this afternoon, but we have not seen it.

“The individuals behind this are not APC members. They are also not members of the Kano State Executive Council of our party. We don’t know them,” Kana said.

“The party’s leadership has already petitioned the Inspector-General of Police on the matter,” he said.

GWG.ng reports that following the assertion, that a team of party loyalists from Kano visited Ganduje and claimed to be the authentic officials of the APC in Ganduje ward adding that they did not sack him from the party or as national chairman.
