Anxiety Mounts Over UTME Results As JAMB Registrar Speaks On Monday

2024 UTME Performance Sparks Concern

The registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will hold a press conference in Abuja on Monday to announce the release of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

It is expected that the press conference will give a new perspective on the release of the results.

JAMB had explained the delay in the delay of the results to the need for careful examination to ensure credibility following concerns such as impersonation and malpractices.

The 2024 UTME, which began on April 19 and ends on April 29 with an estimated 1.9 million candidates expected to have taken the exam at more than 700 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers nationwide. In the past, JAMB had released results shortly after the exam.
