Deportations: Onanuga Under Fire For Attacking Peter Obi

Presidential aide Bayo Onanuga has come under fire after trying to take centre stage in lampooning Peter Obi as a hypocrite for condemning the deportation of Osun State citizens from Lagos.

GWG.ng reports that Obi’s condemnation of the alleged deportation of Osun indigenes from Lagos to Osun, Onanuga attempted to discredit Obi by highlighting his past actions as Anambra governor, particularly his involvement in arresting and repatriating beggars.

However, Onanuga’s efforts to undermine Obi’s stance backfired, stirring further controversy.

Onanuga’s attempts to link Obi with deportations, however, did not impress many who charged him to face up to his duties as concerning the present malaise in the country.
