Akpabio Advises Davido To Stay Out Of Politics (Photo)

Nigerian music sensation Davido recently paid a courtesy visit to Senate President Godswill Akpabio in Abuja, where he received a warm welcome and a word of caution. Akpabio urged the musician to focus on his craft and resist any attempts to lure him into politics.

The Senate President praised Davido for making Nigeria proud and expressed his admiration for the singer’s contributions to the entertainment industry. He emphasized the importance of Davido’s role as a cultural ambassador, saying, “Continue to do your best in the entertainment industry and don’t allow anybody to drag you into politics.”

Akpabio acknowledged the significance of the entertainment industry and assured Davido of the government’s support, stating, “We value talents. We will do everything possible to support the entertainment industry and talented people like you.”

Davido, accompanied by his cousins Folasade Adeleke and Tunji Adeleke, expressed his gratitude for the senator’s support and shared his philanthropic efforts, including his foundation’s annual donations to orphanages. He also announced his upcoming album, set to release in June or July.
