Award-winning Nigerian singer, Davido, has announced his best man for his highly anticipated wedding to Chioma Rowland, set to take place on June 25th, 2024, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. The singer revealed that his trusted right-hand man and personal assistant, Lati Abiola, will stand by his side as best man.

Lati, who has been working with Davido for over two decades, has been instrumental in the singer’s career and personal life. In an interview, Davido credited Lati with helping him woo Chioma, whom he met at Babcock University. He recalled, “I told Lati, ‘omo, I like that girl, go and call that girl for me.’ He called her, but she didn’t answer me at the time. Later on, she came to Lagos, and we linked up.”

Lati’s loyalty and dedication to Davido are evident in his words about the singer: “I have known you since you were 10 years old, that was when I lost both my parents. You are always there for me like a brother, and you have never turned your back against me.”
