Davido May End As A Gospel Singer

Afrobeats icon David Adeleke, aka Davido, has revealed that his billionaire father, Deji Adeleke, once confided an outstanding vision about him ending up as a gospel singer.

According to Davido, his dad foresaw him concluding his music career as a gospel artiste. Davido reportedly shared the vision during conversations with wedding guests on Tuesday.

“In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I said, ‘What vision?’ He said, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer’,” he said.

The event attracted notable figures from business, politics, and entertainment nationwide.

Held in Lagos on Tuesday, the star-studded wedding featured the couple in matching burgundy attire, later changing into elegant white Igbo outfits.

Attendees included close friends, family, and prominent personalities like Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.

Also present were Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom monarch Saheed Elegushi, former Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel, President’s son Seyi Tinubu, and entrepreneur Obi Cubana. Celebrities such as Don Jazzy, Ini Edo, PSquare, Zlatan Ibile, Patoranking, Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Osimhen, Pocolee, and host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu also graced the occasion.
