Rita Dominic Hits Back At Critic Over “Lekki Wives” Role

Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has responded to criticism from an X user who shamed her for taking on a movie role considered beneath her status in the film industry.

The user mocked her involvement in the “Lekki Wives” reality show, suggesting that such projects were below the caliber of Rita Dominic.

The post read, “There are certain projects your brand should outgrow because why is Rita Dominic in Lekki Wives or whatever it is called? Common.”

In her response, Rita Dominic pointed out that only those lacking artistic integrity would make such comments. She urged her fellow actors to ignore such opinions and not let them hinder their creative expression.

Rita emphasized the significance of maintaining artistic integrity and reminded her colleagues that their creativity should not be stifled by empty criticisms. She encouraged Nollywood stars to embrace any platform that allows them to express their creative energy.

She wrote, “Dear Actors, only people who have no single drop of artistic integrity speak like this. If you listen to them you will soon begin to believe you are more important than the industry that birthed you.
