Kunle Ishola dead

Barrister Kunle Ishola, eldest son of former governor of Oyo State, late Chief Kolapo Ishola, is dead.

GWG.ng reports that the lawyer and former Commissioner who served under the administration of late Oyo State governor, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday.

The circumstances of his death are, however, yet to be revealed

The late Chief Ishola was the Third Republic governor of Oyo State on the banner of the Social Democratic Party, SDP and served between 1991 and 1993. He died on August 9, 2011 at the age of 77.

Meanwhile, besides the news that Kunle Ishola is dead in another development, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has stated that Mama Limotalai Arapaja, mother of the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, lived a fulfilled life.

He noted that the proofs of the good life she lived and the good legacies she left behind are Amb. Arapaja and his siblings.

The governor stated this on Wednesday at the 8th Day Fidau for Mama Arapaja, held at JOGOR Event Centre, Ibadan.

He said: “I greet the dignitaries and everyone present here for this event today.

“We thank God for this celebration of life. We cannot question the will of God on her passing at 95.

“For those who are here who didn’t know Mama, I believe you know her products, Ambassador Arapaja and his siblings. Their good deeds towards humanity have brought everyone of us here for this celebration.

“That means Mama lived a fulfilled life and has left good products behind.”
