Drama As Man Returns from the Dead, Leaves Community In Shock (Video)

A Tanzanian man, Robert Maliaki Lukumay, has returned to his village, very much alive, weeks after being declared dead and buried. The shocking revelation has left his family, friends, and neighbors in a state of disbelief.

According to Robert, he had been away from home for a month when news of his death in a road accident spread like wildfire. Unaware of the tragedy, he lost contact with his family and became homeless. Upon his return to the village, he was met with shock and disbelief as he discovered that he had been declared dead and laid to rest.

In an interview with Ayo TV, Robert expressed his discomfort and disbelief, stating that he has yet to visit his own grave due to the unsettling feeling it gives him. He has called for the exhumation of the buried body believed to be his, to clarify the mistaken identity.

“My wish is for the body to be exhumed so that the identity of whoever is buried is determined,” Robert said.

His mother, Flora, recounted the fateful day they received news of her son’s death in a road accident. According to her, they went to the morgue, confirmed it was Robert’s body, and then organized his burial. However, she noticed something strange during the burial.

“On the day they were burying my son, we noticed the casket was shaking vigorously as it was being lowered,” the mother said in part during the interview.

The community is still trying to come to terms with the astonishing news, and the identity of the person buried in Robert’s grave remains a mystery. The incident has raised questions about the accuracy of identification processes in the country.
