As Pressure To Drop Out Mounts, Biden Asks New Questions About Kamala

With rebellion growing among Democrats, President Joe Biden is facing increasing calls to drop out of the presidential race

In a dramatic twist to the agitation on him to drop out from his second term bid, President Joe Biden has changed his questions about Vice President Kamala Harris from saying ‘Kamala cannot win’ to now asking ‘Can Kamala win?’

GWG.ng quotes CNN sources as saying that his new stance follows a private meeting between Biden and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi during which the former speaker told him that the polls were affirmative that the president cannot win.

Speaker Pelosi was said to have expressed her concern that Biden standing as the Democratic Party presidential candidate could also drag down several party members in battle ground states, a situation that could turn over the House to the Republicans.

It was gathered that arising from these fears that for the first time that President Biden is now for the first time tolerating the prospects that he could drop out of the contest.

GWG.ng reports that the pressure on Biden to drop out became a concern for many senior Democrats after the first of two presidential debates during which he appeared to lose his memory.

It was gathered that many senior Democrats are congregating around Speaker Pelosi with the intention of nudging her to use her position to persuade Biden to drop out to prevent the emergence of a second term for Trump.

CNN quoted sources as saying that in a private meeting that Pelosi told Biden that he cannot win and should save the Democrats the prospects of losing the House by deciding to drop out.

The gloom in the camp of the Democrats has been worsened by the COVID-19 positive diagnosis on the president which has inevitably put him out of circulation at least for some days.

President Biden is expected to use the time of isolation to also ponder over the growing rebellion among Democrats which has seen at least 20 Congressional Democrats openly calling on him to drop out.

The call is upon a new AP poll that shows that at least 65% of Democrats want Biden to drop out.
