Fattened Up Bobrisky Speaks After Release From Prison (Video)

Social media is abuzz with reactions to a trending video of famous crossdresser and socialite Bobrisky following his release from prison minutes ago.

In his first words after the release, Bobrisky who was dressed in feminine attire gushed “I missed you guys,” even as he warned against the abuse of the naira, the offence that took him away to prison for three months.

GWG.ng reports that a convoy of friends and associates was on hand to convey Bobrisky from the prison facility and the convoy is presently threading through Lagos following the long expected release.

In April, GWG.ng reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Bobrisky for abuse of the Naira. He was arraigned before a Lagos court, where he pleaded guilty and requested leniency, promising to use his social media platforms to educate his followers against Naira abuse. However, the judge did not excuse his behavior and sentenced him to six months in jail at Ikoyi Correctional Center.

Bobrisky, who has been in EFCC custody for over three months, is set to be released this week. Blogger SDK revealed that Bobrisky would be released on August 5th, 2024. The blog also claimed that Bobrisky hasn’t faced harsh conditions in jail, enjoying internet and call time, but restricted from leaving the premises.

Anticipation for his release has been high, with many, including popular personalities like Lady Golfer, eagerly awaiting his freedom. Actors Moyo Lawal and Alesh Sanni have publicly counted down to his release. Moyo Lawal took to Instagram, stating that the countdown to her best friend’s release was officially on. Alesh Sanni praised Bobrisky’s strength, believing that his time in custody had a purpose, and noted that he had been sending Bobrisky food from his favorite eatery.

Additionally, Bobrisky has reconciled with his former best friend, Tonto Dikeh, with whom he had a falling out in 2020. Kemi Filani observed that the former friends are now following each other on Instagram, a surprising development given their public feud in 2022.

As Bobrisky’s release draws near, social media continues to buzz with excitement and speculation about his next moves.
