In a bold move, social media activist Verydarkman visited the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) office to file a petition against Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin over healing products marketed by the clergyman.

Controversial social activist, VeryDarkMan has upped his game on Pastor Jeremian Fufeyin with his decision to seek a NAFDAC assertion on the legitimacy of the miracle soap marketed by the clergyman.

This action follows his criticism of the pastor’s “miracle” products, which led the clergyman to file a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against the social activist. Verydarkman’s petition seeks to hold Pastor Jeremiah accountable for distributing products without NAFDAC approval.

With evidence in hand, Verydarkman submitted his complaint, urging NAFDAC to take action against the pastor’s products. This development marks another step in the ongoing controversy, as authorities are now formally involved.

The petition’s outcome may have far-reaching implications for Pastor Jeremiah’s operations and the regulation of similar products in Nigeria.

GWG.ng reports that VeryDarkMan had in the recent past sought to put Pastor Fufeyin on the spot over the distribution of the miracle soap with its claims as being a healing balm.

GWG.ng further reports that the involvement of NAFDAC by VeryDarkman in his altercation with Prophet Fufeyin came just after a dietician, Mrs Fummilayo Abraham-Agbelusi, warned that adding additives/chemicals to food and fruit to make them bigger or change their appearance and colour can cause damage to body cells.

Abraham-Agbelusi, Head, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Isolo General Hospital, gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.

She said that the additives mostly used by people were often without the approval and certification of the relevant regulatory authorities such as the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
