Senator Maeba Loses Mother

Senator Lee Ledogo Maeba who represented the Rivers South East Senatorial District between 2003 and 2011 has lost his mother.

Letam Ledum Godgift, SA to Senator Lee Maeba on Media & Publicity disclosed this in a statement mae avai to GWG ON announced the passing of Mrs Erefori Nawa Maeba, who was a beloved mother, community pillar and compassionate soul. 

According to the statement, Mrs Maeba passed away on September 5, 2024 at 11:45AM after a brief illness at Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH). 

“The octogenarian was the beloved mother to distinguished Senator Lee Ledogo Maeba, who has been a representative of the Rivers South East Senatorial District. She was widely admired for her love and great deeds for humanity.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the Maeba family and the community during this difficult time, and extend our heartfelt sympathies to all who were touched by her life and legacy. 

“May her memory be a blessing and a source of comfort for all who knew and loved her,” the statement read.
