Nigerian Men In Tears As Impounded Vehicles Are Auctioned Off (Video)

A viral video circulating on social media has captured an emotional and distressing scene as several elderly men, referred to as “people’s fathers,” were seen crying uncontrollably after their vehicles were seized by the Lagos State Government and auctioned off.

The incident when the cars were auctioned reportedly took place under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after the vehicles were impounded for violation of traffic laws enacted by the Lagos State Government.

According to the individual who posted the video, the vehicles were auctioned at minimal prices, described as “peanuts,” while the owners, some of whom are elderly, stood by helplessly and wept as their vehicles were sold right in front of them by the Lagos authorities.
