EFCC Verydarkman invitation

Controversial social media activist, Martins Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has turned down the invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to appear before it in Lagos to shed light on the alleged N15m said to have paid by convicted crossdresser, Bobrisky to its officials.

GWG.ng reports that the bribe was reportedly paid by Bobrisky for money laundering charges levelled against him or her to be dropped.

EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede was reported to have ordered the investigation following the leak of a voice note in which Bobrisky was alleged to have made the insinuation of a bribe to the commission’s operatives.

VeryDarkMan who leaked the alleged voice note was given an invitation along with Bobrisky to appear at the Lagos command of the EFCC over the issue.

However, responding to the invitation late on Wednesday, VeryDarkMan poohpoohed the move by the EFCC saying that the ball was in the court of the commission to interrogate its officials first on the issue.

He also asserted that he did not trust the commission to carry out a sincere probe on the issue.

He, however, said that he could consider coming if the commission would provide him with a first class air ticket, security details, and accommodation in a top rate hotel in Lagos.
